Her Story-Description
The owner I bought the bicycle from in 2020 was a 54 years old man who told me his father gave it to him at his 14th birthday, meaning in 1980. He told me he had probably used it 10 times realising cycling was not his sport. The little few scratches visible around the frame were mainly made by moving the bicycle around the garage in order to accomodate space for other stuff. It’s a little jewel, probably for a collector because I really guess there are not many around of this type (I never saw one before). It’s also an opportunity for a father passionate of vintage bicycles to buy a very cute present for his son or daughter. By the way, 24” new tubular tyres are still available in the market, from Vittoria tyres. Great little bike in great vintage condition.
Francesco Moser, the legendary Italian cyclist, founded his own bicycle brand, initially focusing on high-performance racing bikes in the late 1970s. The brand, is known for its innovative designs, use of quality materials, and its connection to Moser’s racing career, including his iconic 1984 hour record and 3 Paris-Roubaix wins.
