I’ve never seen an Alan bicycle assembled quite like this in Italy, which makes this one particularly special. I came across it through a friend, and from the first glance, I was drawn to its unique way of assembling a bicycle frame, the special way only Alan does. The frame and components carry that unmistakable Italian quality, yet the way it’s been put together gives it a distinctive personality — a mix of classic craftsmanship and individual flair. ALAN was founded on 1972 by engineer Lodovico Falconi and the name was originated by the names of his son Alberto (AL) and daughter Annamaria (AN). Alan began producing racing bike frames in 1972 with the first frames being available in aluminium. The frames were constructed with a unique method by bonding tubes and lugs using a special glue which originated from the aeronautical industry. The company still exist and still making beautiful modern bikes (alanbike.it). The condition of this bike is great and it is ready for an Alan’s lover.
