Her Story-Description:
The frame came to me almost as an orphan — a beautiful Ciocc, stripped of its original Campagnolo soul. The previous owner had sold all the components to make some money, earning more from the parts than from the complete bike itself, he told me. I felt the pain, a frame like this deserved better. I couldn’t leave it unfinished. Piece by piece, I began the search for the right Campagnolo parts of the 80s— the top of the line — determined to bring it back to life as it once was. It took time, effort, and no small expense, but the result was worth every bit.Today, this Ciocc stands once again in its full glory— elegant, balanced, and ready to ride as beautifully as ever. For me, it’s more than just a bicycle; it’s a story of revival, craftsmanship, and respect for what true Italian cycling once was. The buyer will be the luckiest man!
I personally love Ciocc bicycles, and this is one of the best vintage bike in my collection at the moment.
Ciöcc, an Italian bicycle manufacturer, was founded by Giovanni Pelizzoli in the early 1970s. Pelizzoli, who had a background as a bicycle repairman and worked with Ugo De Rosa, named the company after his nickname, “Ciöcc,” which means “poker face” in the local dialect. The company gained prominence for its high-quality, hand-crafted steel frames, particularly during the 1980s, sponsoring various professional cycling teams.
