Her Story-Description:
One owner only! I bought this bicycle from the son of the original owner, after his father had passed away. He told me his father was almost obsessive about his bike — always keeping it spotless and handling it with great care. And you can see it. The frame is remarkably well preserved, almost without a single scratch, and the components are still in very good condition. I’ve upgraded the derailleurs and levers with Campagnolo parts, since the original Miche set wasn’t working properly. The original wheels remain, suitable for tubular tyres. I didn’t replace the old tyres, thinking the next owner might prefer switching to clinchers altogether.A beautiful and genuine vintage Pinarello not an easy model to find these days, especially in such excellent condition.
Pinarello, an Italian bicycle manufacturer from Treviso, boasts a rich history deeply intertwined with professional cycling. Founded by Giovanni Pinarello in 1952, the company quickly gained recognition for its high-quality steel frames and became a fixture in the professional peloton, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s. Pinarello’s vintage models, like the Montello SLX and Treviso, are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts for their craftsmanship and racing pedigree.
