Her Story-Description:
This bicycle is the first bicycle no-vintage I bought for myself in 2012. I bought second hand from the original owner who had to stop cycling for health reasons. He didn’t use it much, I did a bit, and now I am selling it because is a bit too big for me and also I have too many bikes. It is a great bicycle, in stainless steel but very light tubing. Very smooth, I kept it well, is ready to ride.
Basso Bikes, an Italian brand from Vicenza city, has a history rooted in craftsmanship and a passion for cycling, founded in 1977 by Alcide Basso. Starting as a frame builder in his garage, Alcide’s journey led to the establishment of a company known for its dedication to quality and innovation in bicycle manufacturing. The brand is still family-owned,with Alcide’s sons actively involved in the business. The brand gained international recognition in the late 1970s and early 1980s, with Germany becoming a key market.
